Alex Martinez is CEO of iTissue and a Strategic Advisor to VALTICS. iTissue is in the business of 3D Printing Bioengineered Tissue to Increase the speed of health care tests. They do this by 3D printing the tissue cells that a drug would be exposed to if ingested and then observing the reactions that those tissues have. By initially testing new drugs on 3D printed tissue it makes it easier to see which tissues are reacting to the new drugs and it should also reduce the amount of animal and human testing.
